No swiping into the void a week before your flight. Ifeora tells people in Lagos you're coming, and tells you they're verified.
Get verified, free
Your NIN works from anywhere. No NIN? Use your passport, national ID card, driver's licence or residence permit from the country you live in, plus a live selfie.
Plan your visit
Enter the day you arrive and the day you leave, up to 60 days. The visit pass costs ✦25 in Lights (about $9). Change your dates for free.
Match before you land
From two weeks before you arrive, members in Lagos who chose to meet Nigerians abroad see you first, tagged "Visiting Lagos" with your dates. Activate chat once to message and call.
Meet the ones coming home.
Nigerians abroad who visit Lagos this season show up with their dates, so you know who will actually be in town. They pass the same ID check as everyone on Ifeora.
You only see them if you choose to. Turn it on in your profile, and off again any time.
Open IfeoraVerified, both ways.
- Everyone who messages has passed a government ID check with a live selfie, and each ID can hold only one account.
- Visitors and Lagos members are checked the same way. Look for the verified heart.
- Chats warn you about money requests and moving off the app, the most common romance-scam moves.
- Call on voice or video inside Ifeora before you land, without sharing your number. Calls aren't recorded.
- Phone numbers and social handles stay hidden in chat until you've met, on a video call in Ifeora or in person, so nobody can rush you off the app.
- Plan a Safe Date and send it to someone you trust. When you meet, do the Handshake: a code on each phone that proves it's really the verified person you matched with.
- Never send money to someone you haven't met, and meet somewhere public.
- Report or block anyone, any time. Our team reviews every report.

Good questions.
When do people in Lagos see me?
From 14 days before the day you arrive until the day you leave. Before that, your trip is private.
Who can see me?
Members in Lagos who chose to meet Nigerians abroad, who share one of your lanes and are looking for someone like you. Members who didn't choose that never see visitors.
Can I change my dates?
Yes, for free, as often as you need. Once your trip has started, you can still change the day you leave. A cancelled trip isn't refunded.
What ID do I need?
Your NIN, which works from anywhere, or a passport, national ID card, driver's licence or residence permit from any country, including a Nigerian passport. Our team reviews passports and ID cards, usually within a day.
Is it only Lagos?
Lagos first. We'll open more cities as members ask for them.
Will people see my ID?
No. Your NIN is checked once and never stored, and photos of a passport or ID card are deleted once your check is done. Read the privacy policy.
Your flight is booked. Your December plans can be too.
Get verified now, so you're ready to be seen in Lagos two weeks before you land.
